Making music is the ONE thing I've always wanted to do as a hobby and get good at, but it has been something that I've had distant phases with when it comes to motivation. Granted, this is probably because, despite my enthusiasm, I hadn't pursued it academically, so I'm essentially going in completely blind unlike my other hobbies...
It was this year that I've properly tried getting into it after being inspired by a guy called Levi Niha who's done a lot of cool mixes using sounds from games such as My Singing Monsters, Minecraft, and Incredibox. So, with some spare change, I decided to buy myself a decent DAW and started messing about with things I could see myself making in the future...
One of which specifically is a small chiptune I made 4+ years ago using a site called Jummbox. it was a VERY cringe attempt at trying to make a tune that could roughly fit into Minecraft, hence the title even being called England in reference to C418's Sweden...
I've recently been interested in completely remastering the track and giving it a more faithful likeness to older systems like the NES after being inspired by a lot of multi-chip Mega Man covers. I obviously won't go 100% with the restrictions, but I think it might be fun to de-make it someday...
